Improved Maintenance Performance (IMP) & Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) go hand and hand

A new maintenance management philosophy has emerged over the past few decades. A new forward thinking strategy of implementing sound reliability practices in manufacturing plants has arrived in today’s’ competitive world. The philosophy is based on plan common sense PM’s preventative maintenance and basic maintenance asset management principles.

The reliability basics of IMP are similar to any other parallel philosophies, such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), TPM, TQM, reliability engineering or Six Sigma.

One of our tools in the IMP program is for continuous review of established measurement metrics know as “empirical metrics” we analysis the data and updated the IMP program based on the operating trends and discoveries at your manufacturing site or public & private institute. We believe empirical data is the cornerstone for making sound maintenance asset management decisions.

Since many of the new philosophies still return to the same basics common sense discoveries of best practices and principles, IMP is fast becoming the program of choice in manufacturing plants or public and private institutes.
